About the Role:
Range Road Contracting is looking for a skilled and reliable Equipment Operator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience operating a variety of heavy machinery and a strong mechanical aptitude. You will play an essential role in supporting our construction and earthworks projects, helping us deliver high-quality results safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate a range of heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, graders, skid steers, and loaders.
Perform earthworks and site preparation tasks such as digging, grading, trenching, and backfilling.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance to ensure protected and reliable operation.
Work collaboratively with site supervisors and crew members to meet project deadlines.
Adhere to all company and regulatory safety protocols.
Accurately track equipment usage and report any mechanical issues.

Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or civil environment.
Proficiency in operating excavators, dozers,



graders, skid steers, and loaders.
Class 1 or 3 driver’s license is an asset.
Robust mechanical understanding of equipment operation and upkeep.
Familiarity with GPS-enabled equipment is an asset.
Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work in varying weather conditions and site environments.

Additional Information:
Most of our work is based in Calgary and surrounding areas. However, some projects may require travel outside the city. For these out-of-town assignments, compensation and accommodations are provided.
