We are currently seeking 3rd and 4th year Apprentice Electricians, must have valid Class 5 Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract. Safety tickets are not required but are a definite asset, must have the ability to adhere to all company health and safety policies. As this position is in Fairview, Alberta the successful applicant will have to relocate to Fairview, Alberta, this is located in Northern Alberta between Grande Prairie and Peace River, approx. 500 kilometers north of Edmonton, so please only reliable applications that want to relocate apply. Do not confuse this with Fairview, Calgary as it is not located there. Responsibilities:
Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
Learn and apply knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings
Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit to specified lengths
Install electrical components such as switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures
Test electrical systems and troubleshoot issues




Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of second year apprenticeship program or enrollment in a trade school is preferred
Basic understanding of electrical principles and concepts
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
