Classification: Grid 24, BCGEU Membership

Office Location: Fort St John or Kelowna or Victoria

Salary: $76,313.27 – $86,898.73 – Permanent Full time, based on a 35-hour work week.
An additional 10.75% Job Family Market Multiplier will be added to the posted salary.
An additional 3% Location Allowance will be added to posted salary for northern location.

About the Job:
The Communications Specialist (Specialist) is responsible for providing skilled communications expertise and a range of communications services. The Specialist prepares a variety of communication products and services, supporting the strategic objectives of the BC Energy Regulator. This position will also assist with developing video, graphic, social media and web content.

Communications and Strategic Engagement provides strategic advice,



logistic and tactical communication support and service to other branches within the BCER. It includes issues management and media relations, internal communications and graphics, design, videography and video editing, social media content development and monitoring, writing and web development; as well as industry and government relations.
