UNA Pizza + Wine University District is now HIRING for SOUS CHEF. We are on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities
Assist the head chef in planning, preparing, and executing menu items with precision and creativity.
Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance on food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
Manage food handling procedures to ensure hygiene, safety, and compliance with health regulations.
Oversee food presentation to guarantee dishes meet quality standards before serving.
Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating supplies, and reporting shortages or issues.
Maintain a clean,



organized kitchen environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and safety practices.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and excellent guest experiences.

Skills
Proven supervising or team management experience in a restaurant or food service setting.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques.
Restaurant experience with a solid understanding of kitchen operations.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the food industry.
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide kitchen staff effectively.
Excellent communication skills for seamless coordination with team members and front-of-house personnel.
Flexibility to work in rapid-paced settings while maintaining high standards of quality and service.

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
