Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Flagger to ensure safety and smooth traffic flow at construction sites. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in directing vehicles and pedestrians, maintaining safety protocols, and supporting construction operations. Responsibilities
Direct traffic safely around construction zones using standardized hand signals and signs
Communicate effectively with construction crews, drivers, and pedestrians to prevent accidents
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure work workplace
Assist with setting up signage, barriers, and cones to delineate work areas
Monitor site conditions continuously and report any hazards or issues promptly
Support heavy equipment operation when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are maintained
Collaborate with team members to facilitate efficient paving and construction activities

Skills




Strong understanding of traffic control procedures and safety standards
Ability to operate or assist with heavy equipment operation is a plus
Experience or familiarity with paving and general construction work preferred
Excellent communication skills for clear signaling and coordination
Attention to detail and situational awareness to identify potential hazards
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
Physical stamina to stand for long durations and perform manual tasks as needed
