We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical components.
Duties:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of electrical wiring
Use hand tools and power tools to complete electrical projects efficiently
Renovate existing electrical systems to meet current standards and regulations
Analyze schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively
Work with low voltage systems to ensure proper functioning
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
Provide guidance and training to apprentices as needed
Qualifications:
Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license required
Proficiency in blueprint reading
Experience working as a Foreman or in a similar role is a plus
Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in the electrical trade
Solid understanding of electrical principles and codes
Ability to work on industrial electrician projects is preferred
