About us

Tanbridge Academy was established in 2007 and is an accredited private school offering kindergarten through to junior high with a focus on academics, athletics and personal growth.

Responsibilities:

As a School Bus Driver, you will work Monday to Friday, driving approximately 2 hours in the morning – 7:00 – 9:00 am, 2 hours in the afternoon – 3:30 – 5:30 and driving students to the Soccer Field House on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. This position will be operating a 72 seat school bus.
Safely operate a school van to transport students to their destination
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Maintain a clean and secure bus interior
Monitor student behavior in a friendly, professional manner
Provide excellent customer service to students and staff
Communicate effectively with students and address any concerns or questions
There will also be opportunities throughout the school year to accept additional hours in support of field trips etc.
Drivers work during the school year and are given time off in July and August and school breaks

Requirements:
Class 2 driver’s license, with S Endorsement on license




A clean driving record with no more that 3 minor convictions (Drivers Abstract will be checked)
Minimum of 3 year licensed
No accidents in the last 3 years minimum
Explicit criminal record and vulnerable sector search
Must be comfortable driving in winter conditions
Ability to write and communicate effectively in English
Must be able to work Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

Applications will not be considered if you have the following showing on your drivers abstract.
DUI
Distracted driving
Suspended license
Major convictions

Job Type: Part-time
Part time hours: 20 hours per week

Salary: $27.00 per hour

Schedule:
Morning shift and afternoon shift
No weekends

Class 2 Licence (required) with S Endorsement

CPR Certificate

Ability to Relocate:
