One of our clients is looking for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Assistant / Forklift Operator to join a busy warehouse and logistics operation in Truro, NS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on warehouse experience, a valid forklift certification, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.

Responsibilities

· Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently

· Load, unload, move, and organize products and materials

· Pick, pack, unpack, sort, stack, and wrap goods

· Assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations

· Organize and maintain inventory

· Label and prepare products for shipment

· Handle products carefully to prevent damage

· Keep warehouse aisles and work areas clean, organized, and safe

· Follow workplace health and safety procedures

· Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily operational needs

Qualifications





· Valid Forklift Operator Certification required

· Previous warehouse and forklift operating experience

· 1+ year of forklift experience preferred

· Experience with pallet jacks and material-handling equipment

· Solid attention to detail and organizational skills

· Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced warehouse

· Valuable communication and teamwork skills

· Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

· Ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs (23 kg)

· Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks and handle heavy loads

· Steel-toed safety boots required

· Must be able to reliably commute to Truro, NS

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
