Bartender

Salary Range: $15 per hour
Employment Type: Full time (with the opportunity to work up to 35–40 hours per week)

Our client in the hospitality, food, and catering industry is seeking a skilled and creative Bartender/Server to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of cocktails, beverages, bar operations, and customer service, and will deliver exceptional service in a lively and fast-paced setting. Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
Create and refine signature cocktails that complement the restaurant’s menu and enhance the overall dining experience.
Provide attentive table service and ensure guests receive prompt and friendly service.
Maintain bar inventory, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with the operations manager for ordering supplies.
Ensure compliance with Alberta liquor laws and responsible service guidelines.
Keep the bar and service areas clean, organized, and well-maintained,



ensuring all equipment and glassware meet health and safety standards.
Engage guests with professionalism and enthusiasm, fostering a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
Assist in developing drink promotions and seasonal beverage features.
Support special events and functions with creative drink options, table service, and bar setups.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1–2 years of bartending or serving experience in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting.
Solid knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
ProServe Certification required (or willingness to obtain).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage high-volume service.
Creativity in drink presentation and recipe development.
Team player with a positive attitude and robust work ethic.
