Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures with precision and care
Perform laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures to aid in accurate diagnosis
Prepare animals for procedures by administering medications, setting up equipment, and ensuring their comfort and safety
Maintain detailed medical records, update patient files, and document treatments accurately
Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, medication administration, and preventive health strategies
Manage laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring all tools are sterilized and ready for use




Support client communication by scheduling appointments and providing clear instructions on treatments and procedures

Requirements
Valid license as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
Proven laboratory experience with familiarity in conducting diagnostic tests efficiently and accurately
Robust understanding of animal anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and educate pet owners
Ability to handle animals gently yet confidently in various clinical situations
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Willingness to continue learning new techniques and stay updated on veterinary best practices

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
