Duties
Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing to meet each pet’s specific needs and breed standards
Assess each pet’s coat condition, skin health, and temperament to determine appropriate grooming techniques
Handle pets safely and gently, ensuring a calm environment during grooming sessions
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, stations, and work areas to promote hygiene and safety
Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and provide advice on pet care




Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as lifting large or heavy pets onto grooming tables or into baths
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a positive experience

Experience
Prior experience in pet grooming or related animal care roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners
Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and comfortably as part of daily duties
Passionate about animals with a caring, patient attitude towards pets of all temperaments
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday in a rapid-paced environment
