Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Technician in their second year to join our dynamic service team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop hands-on skills in automotive repair and maintenance while working alongside experienced technicians. As an Apprentice Technician, you will be instrumental in assisting with vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance tasks, gaining valuable industry experience in a quick-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities
Assist senior technicians with vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance procedures
Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to perform repairs accurately and efficiently
Support with vehicle inspections, troubleshooting issues using schematics and technical manuals
Participate in welding and assembly tasks as required for specific repairs or modifications
Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely to move parts or equipment during service operations
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times




Follow dealership protocols for customer service by ensuring timely communication about vehicle status and repair progress

Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or having completed the first year of an automotive technician apprenticeship or similar program
Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory; a strong desire to learn is essential
Basic mechanical knowledge with familiarity of hand tools, power tools, and schematics
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
Experience with welding, assembly, or automotive repair is a plus
Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members
Solid attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills in maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting

Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour
