About the Role

Platinum Grover (2023) Inc is a pipe, piling, and steel supply company serving the oilfield and construction sectors. We are looking for a reliable, safety-minded Yard Staff member to join our Didsbury team. This is a hands-on role critical to the secure, organized, and productive operation of our yard and material handling activities.

Key Responsibilities
Count, measure, and verify pipe and related materials
Cut pipe safely and accurately in accordance with job requirements
Organize yard inventory and maintain proper material placement
Manage yard traffic, including directing trucks, equipment, and personnel
Ensure clear access routes and safe work zones throughout the yard
Maintain general yard cleanliness and housekeeping standards
Assist with loading and unloading of materials as required
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and traffic control protocols
Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions to supervision
Perform other yard-related duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For
Previous yard, warehouse, or materials handling experience is an asset




Ability to safely operate yard equipment and follow traffic control protocols
Strong attention to detail when counting, measuring, and verifying materials
Physically capable of performing outdoor, labour-intensive work in all weather conditions
Commitment to workplace safety — you follow the rules and speak up when something isn’t right
Reliable, punctual, and a team player

Conditions of Employment
Compliance with all Company policies, including safety and drug & alcohol policies
Demonstrated ability to perform duties safely
Successful completion of a probationary period

Pay: $16.91-$28.14 per hour

Experience:
yard, warehouse or materials handling: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
Driver's Licence (required)
