HeadHunting Inc. is recruiting Food Service Aides / Dietary Aide to support meal service within senior living and continuing care environments across British Columbia.

Locations We Are Recruiting For

British Columbia:
Vernon, Penticton, Gibsons, Salmon Arm, Kelowna and Current Westminster.

Responsibilities
Prepare, portion and serve resident meals according to menus and resident choices.
Prepare sandwiches, salads, nourishments and hot/cold beverages.
Prepare breakfast items where applicable.
Provide residents with appropriate meal choices and portions.
Set up and sanitize dining rooms, kitchenettes and food-service areas.
Clean kitchen counters, equipment, refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and floors.
Wash dishes and cookware according to established procedures.
Follow food sanitation and protected food-handling practices.
Label, date, rotate and properly store food and leftovers.
Stock resident kitchenettes and food-service supplies.




Check menu cards and diet lists and communicate changes to cooks.
Complete required food-service audits and temperature checks.
Follow infection-control and workplace safety procedures.

Qualifications
Minimum Grade 10 education.
Institutional food-service experience preferred.
Experience working with elderly residents.
Experience with basic food preparation.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
