Overview
We are seeking a skilled Shingle or Steel Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in various roofing techniques and construction practices. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and safety on the job site. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial buildings.

Duties
Install roofing materials such as shingles, standing seam, exposed fastener steel, and underlayment according to manufacturer specifications.
Perform inspections to identify issues with existing roofs and recommend repairs or replacements.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete roofing tasks.
Collaborate with team members on construction site activities to ensure effective workflow.
Conduct heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials safely in office.
Apply caulking and other sealants to ensure waterproofing of roofs.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:




Proven experience in roofing or related construction fields.
Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively are an asset
Previous construction site experience is highly desirable.
Knowledge of roof maintenance procedures is an asset
