Responsibilities
Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare different cuts of meat according to specifications and customer requests
Ensure all meat products are handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
Package meat products neatly and accurately for retail display or customer orders
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work stations, tools, and equipment throughout your shift




Assist customers with their selections by providing knowledgeable advice on cuts and cooking methods
Follow all food industry standards for hygiene, safety, and quality assurance during food preparation
Support inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of low supplies or quality concerns

Skills
Proven experience or strong interest in the food industry, particularly in butchery or food preparation
Knowledge of meat cutting techniques, food handling procedures, and safety regulations
Ability to operate knives, saws, grinders, and other butchery tools safely and efficiently
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Attention to detail in packaging, labeling, and maintaining cleanliness standards
Basic kitchen experience that supports efficient workflow in a food handling setting
Strong understanding of food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure product quality

Pay: $17.80-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
