Snow Plow Operator

Duties:
Operate snow plow equipment to explicit roads, parking lots, and sidewalks during winter weather conditions
Remove snow and ice from designated areas using plows, shovels, and other snow removal tools
Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to snowfall or icy conditions
Ensure safe operation of equipment and adherence to all safety protocols
Perform routine maintenance on snow plow equipment to keep it in good working condition
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Skills:
Ability to operate and maneuver large snow plow vehicles in a secure and effective manner
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and address any equipment issues that may arise
Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques to minimize damage to grass, plants, and other outdoor features while clearing snow
Ability to work in cold weather conditions for extended periods of time
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads when necessary
