Streamline Fire Protection is looking for qualified and motivated Journeyman sprinkler fitters and apprentices to join our Construction team for work in Edmonton and surrounding communities. You will install fire sprinkler systems in recent and renovated commercial and industrial buildings. The ideal candidate is experienced, reliable, and committed to safety and quality.

Responsibilities:
Install wet, dry, and pre-action fire sprinkler systems according to NFPA standards and local codes
Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and shop drawings
Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipe and fittings
Install sprinkler heads, valves, hangers, and related components
Coordinate work with foremen, project managers, and other trades on-site
Perform system pressure tests and assist with inspections
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Follow company safety policies and OSHA regulations

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a sprinkler fitter or fire protection installer
Knowledge of NFPA codes and fire sprinkler installation methods (Journeyperson)
Ability to read blueprints and layout drawings (Journeyperson)
Experience with steel, CPVC, and/or copper piping preferred




Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or lifts
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract (insurance requirements apply):
3 years of continuous, claim-free insurance history
No more than 2 minor convictions
No major driving convictions
CSTS certification
Robust mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Clear criminal record check
