Job Summary

Ullou Lounge B Town is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, organized and sanitary kitchen while assisting with basic food preparation and daily kitchen operations.

Responsibilities
Wash dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
Operate and maintain the commercial dishwasher
Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized and free of hazards
Assist with basic food preparation, such as washing and cutting vegetables
Properly store clean dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
Clean kitchen floors, counters, walls, sinks and other work areas
Empty garbage and recycling bins and replace liners
Help receive, organize and store food deliveries
Follow food-safety, sanitation and workplace-safety procedures
Inform the kitchen team when ingredients, cleaning products or supplies are running low
Assist cooks and other kitchen staff as required




Complete opening, closing and deep-cleaning duties

Requirements
Previous restaurant or dishwashing experience is preferred, but training can be provided
Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced workplace
Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene
Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
Available to work evenings, late nights, weekends and holidays
Ontario Food Handler Certificate is an asset
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
