Kitchen Hand

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, protected, and organized kitchen while supporting the kitchen staff with basic food preparation and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
Operate and maintain the commercial dishwasher safely and properly.
Keep the dishwashing area, kitchen, storage areas, and floors clean and organized.
Empty garbage, recycling, and food waste bins as required.
Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
Help receive, organize, and store food and supply deliveries.
Restock dishes, utensils, kitchen supplies, and ingredients.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures.
Support cooks and other kitchen staff during busy service periods.
Complete opening and closing cleaning duties.




Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or supervisor.

Qualifications
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is an asset but not required.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Robust attention to cleanliness and food safety.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
