T&T; Supermarket Inc. was founded in 1993 with two stores in BC. Since then, it has expanded rapidly and is now Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain with 36 stores across the country: 13 in BC, 7 in Alberta, 14 in Ontario, and 2 in Quebec. The Company’s continuous expansion is going to bring more current stores in the next couple of years.

The Role

Reporting to the Inventory Control Manager of Financial & Accounting Department, the Inventory Control Associate is responsible for overseeing and reconciling AR / AP data and transactions; as well as maintaining and ensuring accuracy of store’s inventory record.

Major Responsibilities

· Ensure accuracy and consistency of invoices & documents to comply with all applicable store inventory receipts requirements

· Monitor receiving transactions and perform itemized data entry of trade/supplies invoices

· Update stores’ inventory cost and quantity

· Maintain an accurate record of store inventory receipts transactions

· Verify incoming invoices with proper authorization that complies with A/P requirements

· Stay current with different inventory control practices, and system changes

· Perform any other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements





· Post-secondary education in Accounting or related fields an asset

· Valuable general knowledge and understanding on accounting

· Data entry skills and produce work with a high level of accuracy

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

· Work experience in any Enterprise Information System is an asset

· Strong analytic and organization skills; able to prioritize and multi-tasking

· Meticulous with a robust attention to detail

· Able to handle confidential information professionally and in an ethical manner

· Able to work in a fast-paced office environment with minimum supervision

· Demonstrate a keen sense of urgency and commitment to follow up and meet multiple deadlines without compromising work quality

· Able to communicate in English

Work Hours:·

5-day work weeks, including weekdays, weekend and statutory holiday.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $38,500.00-$42,000.00 per year
