At Forest Grove Preschool, we believe in creating a warm, inclusive, and engaging environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to explore. We are currently seeking Supply Registered Early Childhood Educators & Supply Assistants to join our team on a casual/on-call basis.

Role Overview

As a Supply RECE & Supply Assistant, you will support classroom routines, support in program, and provide nurturing care to children ages 18 months to 6 years. You will be a positive role model, helping children build confidence, independence, and a love for learning, while ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
Care for and engage children 18 months to 6 years old, ensuring a secure and inclusive workplace.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of child development to support age-appropriate learning.
Support with program planning and carry out activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and growth.
Provide clear instruction and guidance during activities, ensuring preparation and smooth execution.
Engage in supportive and respectful interactions that help children feel a sense of security and belonging.




Role model positive behaviour and encourage cooperative play and learning.
Communicate effectively and professionally with staff, children, and parents.
Work various shifts as needed, with a adaptable and team-oriented attitude.

Position Requirements
Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in valuable standing with the College of ECEs.
Experience working with children.
Vulnerable Sector Check (current within 6 months).
Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification.
Food Handler Certificate (asset).
Immunization & health assessment (up to date).
Robust in both written and verbal communication.
Proficiency in English, with clear verbal communication and pronunciation, to ensure effective interaction with children, families, and staff.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $22.00-$25.86 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 15.0 per week
