Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses, Registered Psychiatric Nurses or Licensed Practical Nurses to join our amazing team at the Kiwanis Pavilion Long Term Care Home on a part-time or casual basis. The ideal candidate will preferably have experience in seniors care healthcare settings but new grads are welcome. Empathy, compassion and critical thinking skills are needed. Should possess a strong passion for holistic resident directed care.
Duties:
-work within a multidisciplinary team
Administer medication and treatments
Accurate documentation in Point Click Care and EMAR
Assess residents and collaborate within the multi disciplinary team
Collaborate with the healthcare team and resident's to develop individualized care plans
Requirements:
Appropriate education
Valid RN, RPN or LPN nursing license in positive standing with BCNNM
Prior experience in LTC preferred however new grads and others welcome
Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Point Click Care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting and within a team
Nice-to-have Skills:

Pay: $33.00-$58.74 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 32.0 per week
