Clancy’s Service Centre – Lindsay, Ontario

Clancy’s Service Centre is looking for a reliable and hardworking Temporary Full-Time Tire Technician / Labourer to join our team for the upcoming busy tire season.

This is a outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and is interested in gaining experience in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

Duties will include:
Removing and installing wheels and tires
Mounting and balancing tires
Checking and adjusting tire pressures
Moving, organizing and storing customer tires
Assisting technicians and shop staff as required
Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Helping with general shop duties and cleanup
Safely operating shop equipment and following established procedures

What We're Looking For
Reliable, punctual and dependable
Robust work ethic and willingness to learn
Able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting wheels and tires
Comfortable working in a busy shop environment
Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
Valid driver's licence preferred




Previous automotive, tire shop or mechanical experience is an asset, but not required

Training can be provided to the right candidate.

Position Details
Full time, temporary/seasonal position
Approximately 40 hours per week
Monday to Friday
Position is expected to run through the busy tire season. The position could become permanent for the right candidate
