About this Chance:

Our organization, a privately held company based in the lower mainland with a multi faceted workforce, is seeking a Senior Director of Finance to lead financial strategy, reporting, and operations. This role works closely across the C-suite and requires a finance leader who can bring rigor to reporting, comfort operating in ambiguity, and the judgment to support the company through in depth financial decisions.
Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting with a high standard of accuracy and clarity
Build and maintain budget versus actuals reporting, working closely with the C-Suite team to explain variances and improve forecasting discipline
Analyze financial performance and provide leadership with explicit, actionable insight
Oversee day to day finance functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and general ledger integrity
Manage cash flow and working capital to support operational needs
Maintain solid internal controls and ensure timely, accurate financial close processes
Partner with the C-Suite team on financial strategy, including pricing, investment decisions, and resource allocation




Provide financial modeling to support major business decisions
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems
Coordinate audits and maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations
Maintain risk management practices related to financial exposure

Qualifications
CPA designation (Canadian or equivalent) required
7 plus years of progressive finance leadership experience
Strong track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Experience managing a finance team
Strong systems skills, including experience with financial reporting and accounting software
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate financial complexity for non finance leaders

What Success Looks Like

Within the first year, this role will have delivered dependable, accurate financial reporting, driven measurable improvement in forecasting and budget discipline, and become a trusted strategic advisor to the CEO and C-suite.

Pay: $110,000.00-$135,000.00 per year
