About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Massage Therapist with specialized training and hands-on experience in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) to join our clinic as a contractor. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MLD practitioner looking for flexible hours and a supportive treatment setting.

Please note: RMTs without specialized MLD training/certification will not be considered for this position.

Requirements
Current registration with a recognized massage therapy regulatory body (e.g., CMTA, MTAA, or equivalent) and legally eligible to work in Calgary, Alberta
Specialized certification/training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (e.g., Vodder Method, Casley-Smith, Foldi Method, or comparable recognized MLD certification)
Demonstrated clinical experience performing MLD treatments
Valid liability insurance (or ability to obtain)
Strong communication and client-care skills
Ability to maintain accurate treatment records and client documentation

Responsibilities
Provide qualified MLD and general massage therapy treatments based on client needs and assessments
Conduct client intake, assessment, and treatment planning




Maintain a clean, safe, and qualified treatment space
Keep up-to-date clinical notes in compliance with regulatory standards
Communicate professionally with clients and clinic staff regarding scheduling and treatment plans

Compensation
Competitive contractor split
Split may be negotiated upward based on demonstrated MLD treatment experience and expertise
As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and regulatory fees

Schedule
Flexible — part-time to full-time hours available
Schedule to be discussed based on clinic needs and practitioner availability
