Produce Clerk – Lucky Supermarket Surrey

Lucky Supermarket is an Asian grocery supermarket offering a wide selection of Asian and Western groceries, fresh produce, meat, seafood and specialty products.

We are looking for a Produce Clerk to join our Surrey location.

Responsibilities
Stock and maintain the produce department.
Receive and unload produce deliveries and check product quality.
Rotate, trim, wrap, pack and label produce.
Perform price checks and ensure products are properly displayed.
Maintain cleanliness of the produce department and surrounding areas.
Assist customers with questions and product selections.
Assist with customer carry-outs when required.
Follow proper food handling and safety procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Knowledge of Asian and Western produce is an asset.
Friendly and customer-service oriented.




Reliable and able to work well as part of a team.
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.
Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
Able to perform repetitive lifting, bending and crouching.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as required.
A second language is an asset.
