Eastern Powersports is a full-service powersports, power equipment, lawn care equipment and trailer dealership located in Amherst NS. We are searching for a mechanic to help us provide a high-level of customer support in the service department.

Responsibilities for this position include:
Assembly, maintenance, and repair of various types of equipment including ATV's, SxS, motorcycles, power equipment, outboard motors, small engines, lawn care equipment, and trailers
Perform MVIs on trailers & motorcycles (if qualified)
Complete all necessary training specified by management and/or the brands that we represent
Load and unload trucks
Transport equipment to and from storage warehouse
Ability to work some Saturday mornings or evenings if required due to work load

Required skills and education:
Experienced small engine mechanic (Motorcycle Mechanic Trade Certification considered an asset)
MVI Tester license for motorcycle and/or trailers considered an asset




Motorcycle endorsement on driver's license considered an asset
Solid organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Commitment to a safe workplace

The successful candidate will be required to supply their own tools that are common to the mechanic trade. Heavy duty tools and tools specific to the brands we represent are supplied by the dealership.
