The Supply Chain Director is primarily responsible for the following:

Supply Chain Strategy
Define and implement the procurement strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve lead times, and optimize processes.
Analyze market trends and anticipate resource requirements.

Supplier Management
Select, evaluate, and negotiate with strategic suppliers within the aerospace industry.
Develop and maintain long-term partnerships with key suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance, including quality, delivery, compliance, and cost metrics.
Manage supply chain risks such as shortages, supplier dependency, and other disruptions.

Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and motivate the purchasing/supply chain team and production line follow-up personnel.
Establish team performance objectives and monitor progress toward achieving them.
Support employee development through training, coaching, and continuous learning opportunities.

Operational Management
Oversee the full procurement cycle, including requisition, purchasing, receiving, and invoicing.




Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as service levels, lead times, and cost savings.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Systems and Processes
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and supply chain processes.
Oversee or manage procurement-related systems and tools.
Identify prospects to digitize and automate processes where appropriate.
Leverage AI tools and technologies to support cost reduction and operational efficiency initiatives.
