Responsibilities
Assist licensed pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and inventory management
Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, offering medication guidance, and ensuring patient comfort
Handle medication stock levels, restocking shelves, and verifying expiration dates to maintain safety standards
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, medication logs, and patient interactions in compliance with healthcare regulations
Support administrative tasks such as processing prescriptions, managing patient files, and scheduling appointments




Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals using explicit medical terminology
Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organized, and adheres to health and safety protocols

Skills
Prior experience in a community pharmacy setting is highly desirable
Previous pharmacy assistant experience is preferred to support medication management tasks
Strong understanding of medical terminology to accurately interpret prescriptions and communicate with staff
Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care with professionalism and empathy
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety standards
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for record keeping and inventory control
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining accuracy and focus
