Royal Building Supplies is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Lift Truck/Fork lift Operator. Previous experience in a similar position and knowledge of building supplies. Candidates must have well developed communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of drywall, insulation and steel studs is an asset. You will also be a team player, able to operate effectively and safely in a rapid paced, multitask oriented environment.

Responsibilities:
Load/unload materials in a protected manner, material handling
Check invoices to verify proper quantities
Prepare orders to be shipped
Fill customer orders according to invoices
Basic Math Skills
Customer Service
Sign and date customer orders
Stock handling, manually lifting over 50kg at times
Report damaged material or equipment to supervisor




Daily Circle Check for lift truck
Advise Supervisor of low inventory levels
Operate equipment in a secure manner
Proper conduct and respect when interacting with fellow employees
Work inside and outdoors, all season weather
Adhere to Company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
Housekeeping mandatory
Any duty your supervisor deems necessary

Forklift/lift truck certification required.
