The Commoner is a neighbourhood restaurant and bar located in the heart of Roncesvalles, serving elevated pub fare, craft beer, classic cocktails, and a lively, welcoming atmosphere.

We’re looking for an experienced Bartender / Server to join our team. We are open to part time or full-timeavailability.

What we’re looking for:
Previous bartending experience is required
Solid knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
Comfortable working both behind the bar and on the floor
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Able to work efficiently in a busy, high-volume setting
Friendly, professional, and reliable
Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
Smart Serve certification required
Evening and weekend availability is an asset

What you’ll be doing:
Providing warm, attentive service to guests
Mixing and serving cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages
Taking food and beverage orders and ensuring an excellent guest experience
Maintaining a clean, organized,



and well-stocked bar
Handling payments and maintaining accurate tabs
Supporting the service team during busy periods
Contributing to a positive, team-oriented work workplace
