Join our team this winter!

Rafat General Contractor Inc. is hiring Equipment Operators for our Brampton snow camp and winter maintenance operations across the GTA. Our crews keep roads, transit stations, sidewalks and parking lots explicit and secure throughout the winter.

We are looking for operators experienced with one or more of the following:

Graders, Loaders, Backhoes, Tractors, Sidewalk Snow-Clearing Machines

Winter maintenance experience is strongly preferred. Experienced equipment operators without snow-removal experience may also be considered if positions remain available.

What you’ll do

Operate snow-clearing equipment safely and efficiently at assigned locations, follow designated routes and supervisor instructions, and work around traffic, pedestrians and property with care.



You will also complete pre-operation equipment checks, report mechanical or safety concerns promptly, and keep your equipment clean and ready for service.

What we’re looking for
Previous experience operating one or more of the equipment types listed above.
Dependability, a safety-first attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a crew.
Reliable transportation to your assigned snow camp or reporting location.
Availability to respond on short notice, including overnight shifts, early mornings, weekends and holidays.

Be ready when the snow arrives

This is an on-call, weather-dependent position. You must be reachable and ready to report when called for winter maintenance operations. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
