A Celebrant works with client families to develop a meaningful ceremony which is personalized to reflect the life-style of the deceased, to recognize the life of the deceased and provide those attending with a meaningful end-of-life ceremony. Provides an alternative to traditional, religious or clergy driven ceremonies.

What You’ll Do:
Meet with families, listen deeply, and uncover the stories that matter most.
Discern and recommend meaningful ceremony options — readings, music, rituals, or

creative elements — tailored to each family.
Design and offi ciate personalized ceremonies that celebrate life and provide healing.

Have confi dence in making changes as required to ensure that the Celebration of Life

meets the needs of the family.
Coordinate with funeral directors and service providers to ensure smooth experiences.
Prepare keepsake copies of ceremonies for families to treasure.

MINIMUM Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

— Ability to work independently and as part of

a team.

— Robust listening, empathy, and discernment

skills.

— Comfort in both indoor and outdoor





environments; ability to offi ciate ceremonies

in diverse conditions.

— Flexibility to work outside of standard

business hours as needed.

Experience
Familiar with company guidelines, procedures and policies
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Robust listening, empathy, and discernment
Comfort in both indoor and outdoor
environments; ability to officiate ceremonies in varied conditions
Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours as needed.

Work Conditions
Frequent standing and sitting for extended periods.
Local travel between service locations.
