Produce Wrapper – Lucky Supermarket Surrey

Lucky Supermarket is an Asian grocery supermarket offering a wide selection of Asian and Western groceries, fresh produce, meat, seafood and specialty products.

We are looking for a Produce Wrapper to join our Surrey location.

Responsibilities
Wrap, pack, label and prepare fresh produce for display and sale.
Trim and prepare fruits and vegetables as required.
Check produce for freshness and quality before packaging.
Ensure products are properly labeled and priced.
Stock and organize packaged produce in the department.
Rotate products to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the produce counter, wrapping area and equipment.
Assist the Produce Clerk and other department staff as required.
Follow food handling, sanitation and workplace safety procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Able to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment.




Able to perform repetitive wrapping, packing, trimming and labeling tasks.
Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing bending, crouching and lifting.
Good attention to detail.
Reliable, organized and able to work as part of a team.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as required.
Knowledge of Asian and Western produce is an asset.
A second language is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 44.0 per week
