Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Class 1 / AZ US Truck Driver based in Ajax, Ontario, to join our energetic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate heavy-duty trucks across the United States, ensuring timely freight delivery while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 1 / AZ trucks across various routes in the US, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before departure
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight details, and delivery documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements




Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries efficiently
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep trucks in optimal condition
Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a protected working environment at all times

Skills
Valid Class 1 / AZ commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts for freight handling
Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards for transporting goods across borders
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshoot mechanical issues
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
Proven ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments

Pay: $95,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
