Cashier – Full-Time / Part-Time

We are looking for reliable and friendly Cashiers to join our Lucky Supermarket South team in Surrey, BC.

Responsibilities
Operate the cash register and POS system accurately.
Process cash, debit, credit card, and other approved payments.
Scan items and calculate the total payment for purchases.
Receive payments and provide accurate change and receipts.
Balance and reconcile payments received with total sales at the end of the shift.
Greet customers and provide friendly customer service.
Assist customers with questions and product inquiries.
Assist customers with self-checkout when required.
Bag or package customers' purchases.
Weigh produce and bulk food items accurately.
Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Participate in store promotions and suggestive selling.




Verify customer age when required for age-restricted products.
Follow store policies, cash-handling procedures, and loss-prevention procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Previous cashier or customer service experience is an asset.
Comfortable handling cash and using a POS system.
Robust customer service and communication skills.
Able to work efficiently in a rapid-paced grocery store workplace.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
Must be available for assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
