Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Student Services Officer to join our agile team. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between students and the college, providing comprehensive support to ensure a smooth and enriching educational journey. Your enthusiasm for student success, combined with excellent communication skills, will help foster a welcoming and inclusive campus environment.

Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for students, addressing inquiries and providing guidance on college programs and services
Deliver engaging presentations and workshops to promote student engagement and participation
Assist with recruiting efforts by promoting college programs at events and through outreach initiatives
Support students with registration processes, orientation sessions, and academic advising coordination




Maintain accurate records of student interactions, feedback, and service activities using college management systems
Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify student needs and develop tailored support strategies
Organize and facilitate student-focused activities that enhance campus community involvement

Skills
Robust public speaking abilities to confidently engage diverse audiences
Proficiency with Ellucian or similar student information systems for data management and reporting
Experience in recruiting or outreach activities to attract prospective students
Teaching or mentoring skills to effectively communicate complex information clearly
Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, staff, and external partners
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Passion for supporting student success and fostering an inclusive campus atmosphere

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
