In this vital role, you will be responsible for sterilizing, disinfecting, and preparing dental instruments and equipment, supporting the delivery of high-quality dental care. You should be able to multi-task and help turnover rooms effciently to maintain the clinic flow. Your proactive approach will help maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety, contributing to a positive patient experience and smooth clinic operations.

Duties
Properly clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments using approved methods and equipment
Prepare instrument trays and materials needed for various dental procedures
Turnover rooms and set up rooms for appropriate dental procedures
Assist in organizing and managing sterilization supplies to ensure availability of sterile instruments at all times
Follow strict infection control protocols in accordance with health regulations and best practices
Assist dental team members by passing sterilized instruments during procedures as needed




Help clinical staff in any way possible to maintain an effective clinic flow
Monitor sterilization equipment for proper functioning and report any malfunctions promptly

Requirements
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dental procedures and infection control practices
Prior experience in a healthcare or dental sterilization setting is preferred
Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to strict safety standards
Strong organizational skills with attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with dental team members and follow instructions
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
