Responsibilities
Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare different types of meat according to established standards and customer specifications
Ensure all meat handling and processing complies with food safety regulations and hygiene practices
Package meat products securely for retail display or customer orders, maintaining freshness and quality
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment to uphold health standards
Assist customers with product selection, answer questions about cuts and preparation methods,



and provide excellent customer service
Rotate stock efficiently to minimize waste and ensure product freshness
Follow all safety procedures during meat processing, including proper use of knives and equipment

Experience
Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in butchery or meat cutting, is highly preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, meat handling, and food safety regulations
Familiarity with packaging methods for retail or wholesale meat products
Strong attention to detail with excellent knife skills and precision in cutting
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced workplace while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Kitchen experience or background in food handling is a valuable asset
Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients and team members
