We are looking for a prep cook who is also available as a delivery driver- 70% prep, 30% delivery. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a rapid-paced kitchen but is also comfortable with taking deliveries in the area- knowledge of the area is an asset.
In this energetic role, you will support our kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, in a timely manner and assisting with food assembly to ensure that every dish/order meets our high standards for quality and safety. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a lively, efficient environment where great food and excellent service come together seamlessly.
Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients by stocking, chopping, slicing, and measuring to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Making sure there is enough chicken and other main food items are ready for service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep station in accordance with food safety standards
Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure all dishes are prepared efficiently and to specifications
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the kitchen running smoothly during service hours
Deliver food accurately in a timely manner
Provide friendly customer service
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food handling safety regulations and best practices in sanitation
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work efficiently in a quick-paced setting
Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a positive attitude and robust work ethic
Basic understanding of serving procedures and customer service principles is a plus
Prior kitchen experience or background in the food industry will be advantageous for success in this role
