Join M’Chigeeng First Nation as a Youth Program Facilitator. Deliver programs that enhance life skills and promote cultural awareness for children and youth.

In this full time role, you will create and execute engaging programming aimed at improving children and youth's well-being. Reporting to the Child & Youth Coordinator, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure activities are culturally relevant and effective.

Your involvement will be key in planning events and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all.

Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate after-school and summer programs with cultural elements
Organize creative activities like homework and art nights
Develop and implement current youth-led community initiatives




Ensure safety while engaging participants in programs
Maintain comprehensive records related to program effectiveness

Requirements:
Two-year diploma in related field preferred
Experience in community youth work
Understanding of First Nation customs and practices
Solid problem-solving and interpersonal skills
Current Vulnerable Sector Screening required
