We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Associate/ Receiving to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including receiving and warehouse duties. This position requires a robust attention to detail, the ability to operate various types of warehouse equipment, including order picker and forklifts will also need to be comfortable working with heights , and a commitment to maintaining a protected and organized work environment.
Duties
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, order picker reach trucks.
Perform receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.
Engage in heavy lifting to 50 pounds and order picking.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production goals.
Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse processes.
Requirements
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes is highly desirable.
Familiarity with order picking, packaging, shipping & receiving processes.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
A commitment to safety protocols and practices within the warehouse environment.
