Duties
Lead and supervise restaurant team members during your shift, including hiring, training, and mentoring staff to foster a high-performance culture
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality standards are met consistently
Manage cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to facilitate accurate transactions
Ensure adherence to food safety protocols, proper food handling, and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations
Coordinate customer service efforts to deliver an outstanding dining experience, resolving any issues promptly and professionally
Monitor restaurant operations, including inventory management, cleanliness, and safety checks to maintain a welcoming workplace
Conduct interviews for potential new hires and participate in team scheduling to optimize staffing levels for peak times
Experience
Proven supervising or team management experience within the food service or hospitality industry
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
Familiarity with restaurant management systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Experience in customer service roles such as serving, bartending, or barista work within the food industry
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for maintaining hygiene and quality in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable; hotel or hospitality background is a plus
