Job Overview A reputable Endoscopy Clinic in Kingston is seeking an enthusiastic part time (potentially full-time in the future) Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in a challenging, rapid-paced workplace at our Kingston locations. You will provide nursing care to patients and their families in the operating room and GI Recovery area.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting the physician in the operating room and

managing patient care during pre-procedure and post-procedure phases for the patients undergoing diagnostic or screening endoscopies.
Maintain accurate and detailed reports and records of the patient.
Monitor, record and report symptoms and changes in patients’ condition.

Qualifications:
Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
BLS/CPR Required
Excellent organizational skills and flexibility.




Committed to professional development and strong knowledge of policy and practice

Standards.

Experience:

A minimum of two years of recent acute care experience is required

Experience in caring for patients receiving procedural sedation

Excellent IV skills.

Experience in endoscopic clinic will be an asset.
