Duties
Prepare ingredients and components for baking and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
Assist in the cooking process by following directions from chefs or head cooks to ensure timely food production
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep station, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation protocols
Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation to prevent waste and ensure freshness
Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently completing meal preparation tasks




Ensure all food handling procedures meet health regulations and safety standards
Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management when stock needs replenishing

Requirements
Prior experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or food industry roles preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety practices
Solid understanding of food handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
Familiarity with serving customers or assisting in food service settings is a plus
Commitment to upholding food safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times
