Position: Retail Sales Associate

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associates to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people, has a genuine interest in beauty and hair care, and is motivated to provide an exceptional in-store experience. This role involves customer service, sales support, inventory handling, and general store operations.

Key Responsibilities
Assist customers in selecting products that best suit their needs
Drive sales through customer engagement, suggestive selling, and product knowledge
Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
Answer questions and provide accurate information about products and services
Escort customers to product displays, shelves, and counters as needed
Deliver an outstanding customer service experience at all times
Document sales by creating or updating customer profile records
Process payments by totalling purchases and handling cash, debit, credit, and other approved payment methods
Notify management promptly of any potential security concerns
Support inventory management by receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise




Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and work area
Keep customers informed about promotions, preferred customer sales, and current merchandise
Demonstrate basic knowledge of hair types, especially 3A–4C textures, and related products

Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required
1 year of retail experience preferred (training provided)

Pay & schedule:
$17.60/hour
Full time: 30–40 hours/week
Weekday, evening, and weekend availability
Adaptable retail hours.
