Responsibilities
Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with physician orders and legal regulations
Provide expert advice to patients and healthcare professionals on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
Review patient profiles for allergies, contraindications, and appropriate dosages to ensure protected medication administration
Collaborate with medical teams to develop and adjust treatment plans based on patient needs
Maintain meticulous records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient interactions in compliance with regulatory standards
Educate patients on proper medication storage, adherence,
and health management strategies
Stay current with new pharmaceutical developments, medical terminology, and industry best practices to enhance patient care

Skills
Proven experience working as a Pharmacist in hospital or acute care settings
Solid knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration protocols
Experience caring for pediatric patients and managing complex medication regimens in acute environments
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
Ability to interpret prescriptions accurately and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently
Injection certified
