Responsibilities
Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to enhance their comfort and independence
Administer medications accurately according to care plans and document all medication-related activities diligently
Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met while respecting dietary restrictions
Provide companionship and emotional support to foster social engagement and mental well-being
Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment within the client’s home or care facility




Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to prevent injury for both client and caregiver
Monitor clients’ health status, report any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare specialists or family members

Qualifications
Proven experience working as a Personal Support Worker (PSW), with assisted living or nursing home experience preferred
Strong background in senior care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities or special needs
Knowledge of medication administration protocols and caregiving best practices
Ability to perform cleaning tasks, meal preparation, and other household duties efficiently
Excellent communication skills combined with a caring attitude that respects client dignity
Certification as a Personal Support Worker or equivalent credential is highly desirable
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are considered an asset for home care roles
