We're setting out to establish a new standard in health optimization for all Canadians.What You'll DoCore Clinical Responsibilities:Perform bone density and body composition scans, serving members who are actively engaged in their health journey and seeking preventative insightsEnsure patients are correctly identified and maintain patient confidentiality at all timesExplain procedures to members and assist in positioning to facilitate accurate, high-quality imagingEnsure complete and accurate patient screening and that imaging quality standards are maintained maintain imaging quality standards in accordance with clinic and regulatory requirementsReproduce scans accurately and troubleshoot positioning or technical issues as they ariseAssist members in addressing any needs or concerns that arise during their visitMaintain accurate documentation and ensure all imaging records are completed appropriately within required systemsOperational & Quality Excellence:Perform routine performance checks on equipment and peripherals; report non-operational equipment or equipment failure to the Operations ManagerMaintain organized, clean procedure areas and ensure materials are prepared in advanceParticipate in educational programs, trainings, and workshops deemed appropriate to maintain clinical excellenceSupport accreditation, quality assurance, and safety initiatives as requiredTeam & Mentorship:Lead training and evaluation of new imaging technologists,



contributing to the establishment of clinical excellence standards across the teamSupport the continuous evolution of imaging protocols and procedures based on clinical best practices and feedbackCollaborate closely with clinical and operational leadership to support workflow optimization and exceptional member experienceQualificationsWhat You BringMust-HavesGraduate of an accredited medical radiography program and current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)Current MRT registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) — Alberta-based regulatory requirementProficiency in performing bone densitometry scans and body composition imagingProficiency in using PACS/RIS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems / Radiology Information Systems) and electronic health records (EHR) platforms, with demonstrated comfort learning new health IT systemsExceptional verbal and written communication skills and genuine comfort explaining technical procedures to members from diverse backgrounds and health literacy levelsStrong professional judgment, organized and able to manage your time effectivelyStrong problem solver with ability to critically think and analyze dataDiligent, autonomous, punctual, discreet, with excellent people skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality standardsAbility to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary care teamDemonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and delivering a high-touch member experienceGreat-to-haves1+ years of experience working in bone mineral density (BMD) imaging — this accelerates your impact and reduces training timeExperience operating bone densitometry devices, particularly GE Lunar Prodigy systems (training on our specific equipment will be provided to qualified candidates without prior Prodigy experience)Ability to create protocols and manuals to support team training and standardizationExperience working in a preventative health, executive health, or private healthcare environment is considered an asset#J-18808-Ljbffr
